Electric Europe Hitachi Kokusai Electric is dedicated to providing customers with the most advanced video equipment and systems for the broadcast, production, business, industrial, medical and telecommunication markets. We are committed to meeting the needs of its users today, while helping forge a migration path for tomorrow. This has been the company's philosophy ever since it entered the European market in 1980. Shibaden Denki (Shibaden), the predecessor, was founded 1967 in Frankfurt and soon established itself as leading manufacturer of broadcast cameras - a product range that Hitachi-Denshi Ltd. certainly adopted. A few years later Hitachi-Denshi decided to enter the Industrial Video Application Market by producing cameras and components with direct focus on dynamic industrial video applications. The advent of low-cost manufacturers in the late 80s forced Hitachi-Denshi GmbH to shift its production into high-end video and broadcast equipment, thus enabling its cameras and products to be used for advanced industrial, medical and security applications. After Kokusai Electric Inc. purchased Hitachi Denshi, in October 2000, the company again decided to expand and design products for the telecommunications and IT industry. Am 01.01.2006 wurde aus der Hitachi-Denshi (Europa) GmbH aufgrund weltweiter Hamonisierung die Hitachi Kokusai Electric Europe GmbH. Throughout the years, Hitachi-Denshi has continually served a variety of European markets by providing new technologies and high-tech products. Particularly emphasis were placed on providing high-tech industrial video solutions for the communities where the company has a significant presence. |
